My very 1st makeup work

After I graduated from CAS, I thought that I'll have a lot of work because it's a known school, but I was wrong. In the makeup industry you need some connections, your work must excel than the others, you must have a lot of talent or you're a known person.

Good thing I know persons who can help me. My model friends who modeled for me for my portfolio and who gives me gig. Special thanks to Valerie Villamar for this makeup gig. I was very happy when I received her call that she'll be getting me for an AVP for a real estate. The call time is so early 3am because we need to go in Cavite for the shoot. The talents arrived at 8am and the whole set ended at 12midnight. It was a an exhausted day for me... because I didn't know that I'll be doing the hair I only knew is that I'll be doing only the makeup, so I didn't bring anything for hair specially I didn't bring a car. Almost everybody was upset at me, but it wasn't really my fault. They contacted me and told me that I'll do the makeup. They never told me I'll be doing the hair.

NATURAL 18 GOAT BRUSH by Shu Uemura

SHU UEMURAs 18 goat foundation brush, it works like stippling brush. It leaves the foundation to our skin so natural that it looks just like our skin. Not so heavy coverage, the right foundation brush.
High quality craftsmanship
artisans in workshops in Japan. made from the highest quality natural hair, each hair is stacked by hand and cut at the root end to retain their soft, naturally tapered tips for the most delicate touch to sensitive areas of skin. shu uemura brushes are also made with premium quality synthetic hair, preferable for certain types of make-up, for a diverse line of application tools.
Specially made for Shu Uemura Face Architect Cream Foundation.

Shu Uemura Depsea Hydrability Moisturizing Lotion

I bought Shu Uemura makeup from Duty Free Nagoya International Airport. And they had this promo that if you purchase 40,000yen you'll get a set of skin care. That's how I get the Shu Uemura Depsea Hydrability Moisturizing Lotion. I never use this until my mom told me that it's a toner. (I'm so naive in makeup that time-hahahahaha!). It helps my skin moisturize the same time it works as toner. It helps my skin breathe and relax. It hydrates thhe skin while moisturizing it at the same time. I really love using this, and hope you'll love using this too as everyday skincare. This is specially made for Asian skin.

Make-Up International

MAKE-UP INTERNATIONAL hold a unique position in the history of make-up and continually strive to provide professionals with an inspiring range of products , that meet the demands of the industry, and that have become synonymous with quality.
The company supplies the FACE TO FACE range to many film centres worldwide. Make-Up International are established members of the BUAV and therefore only use ingredients not tested on animals. The company is proud of its history and draws on this to give dimension to modern techniques and trends. The resulting range is both classic and contemporary reflecting our ethos: INDIVIDUAL INSPIRING AND INSTINCTIVELY PROFESSIONAL.

I've been using these since the school (CAS) introduce this to me. I thought they just want to sell it to us (students) because they're carrying this brand, but I was surprised when I graduated from CAS I tried using these because it's very expensive and I don't wanna waste this makeup, it's a high-definition makeup. What you see in the palette that's what you get. It's so nice, the colors in the palette is perfect. you can blend it to other colors if you want a precise color. A must have for make-up artist. Also the gel liners are so good!

This is the Everyday look like No Make-Up look.

Glam Look or Evening Look.

Just emphasized the eyes or the lips not the same time

Natural Make-Up

For everyday make-up

The 70's Look

so metallic and cat's eye are the trend on that era. This was the disco time.

My very 1st makeup

Foundation only:

1. clean face with make-up remover/ soap and water
2. put toner using cotton.
3. put moisturizer and wipe excess moisturizer with tissue
4. put make-up primer
5. correct any imperfections on the face like concealing the scars, eye bags, pimples, etc.
6. find the right skin tone for your complexion.

The NO-Make-Up Look

This is the very basic natural and everyday look.
Very simple it just emphasized he details in your face like the crease of your eyes, your eyelid, eyebrows, nose line, and some contouring.

This look is use for ads like beauty products like facial wash and out of bed looks.

Also for the talents look natural on TV/ Prints.

Make-Up Artistry

I graduated Make-Up Artistry from CAS/ Center for Aesthetics Studies- Frank Provost, Makati.
Also I studied hair upstyle at the same school.
I had a workshop for airbrush makeup at KRYOLAN.

My first works didn't really look good, maybe because it was my first time to do makeup by following directions under a makeup school.
Before I studied makeup artistry I thought that what I do with my own makeup is good, but when I enrolled in makeup school I found out that what I usually do for my own makeup is so not good. I felt like I'm so naive about makeup artistry thing.
